Seismic qualification testing for IEEE344
This testing consists of 30-second duration random multi-frequency testing, performed on all equipment deemed critical to safety in commercial nuclear applications. This particular table is a 3DOF servo-hydraulic tri-pod design. This table and others like it have been successfully controlled utilizing the VR8500 and its unique off-axis compensation strategy.

The off-axis compensation of the VR8500 provides the necessary independence of motion required by IEEE344-2004, including coherence <0.5 and correlation coefficient <0.3. The results from this testing demonstrate the precise control of the VR8500 and give you a feel for the type of data available.
